Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth flow of service from start to finish
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay orders promptly to kitchen staff
• Serve food and drinks with precision, including cocktail and spirits service, while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling to enhance guest experience and revenue
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, including wine pairings and food safety standards, to provide expert recommendations and answer guest inquiries confidently
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and service stations in accordance with food safety regulations
• Assist with bussing tables, refilling beverages, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure seamless service flow

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on guest relations and customer service excellence
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing and sales transactions
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine pairings, and drink presentation techniques
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales while enhancing guest satisfaction
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, change calculation, and sales processing
• Culinary experience or food industry background preferred for better understanding of menu offerings and food safety standards
• Nightclub or fine dining experience is a plus for adapting to diverse service environments
• Knowledge of sanitation practices related to food handling and serving in compliance with health regulations
