Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide prompt, attentive service throughout their visit
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Upsell menu items and beverage options to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and foster positive guest relations to ensure satisfaction
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to maintain cleanliness and operational flow

Experience

• Previous restaurant experience in food service or hospitality roles preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
• Experience with food preparation, serving techniques, and guest services enhances your ability to excel in this role
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
• Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items and maximize sales opportunities through friendly engagement
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing bills confidently
