Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm to set a positive tone for their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale), ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food handling and sanitation
• Check in with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns, and upsell menu items to enhance their experience
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with food safety regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with strong guest service skills
• Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and cashiering
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for billing, tips, and inventory management
• Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and guests
• Hospitality-oriented attitude with a focus on creating welcoming atmospheres and upselling opportunities

Pay: $17.95-$19.00 per hour
