About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Server to join our team. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for both serving guests with professionalism and grace, whilst also providing supervisory support on the dining floor. This role is integral to maintaining the high standards of service that Silver Spoon Restaurant is known for, ensuring that every guest leaves with a positive and lasting impression.

Key responsibilities

• Provide attentive and professional service to guests, taking orders accurately and ensuring prompt delivery of food and beverages

• Supervise and coordinate the service activities of other servers and hospitality staff during shifts

• Address guest inquiries, concerns and special requests with professionalism and courtesy

• Ensure compliance with all health, safety and food hygiene regulations

• Manage payment transactions and maintain accurate records

• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service operations

• Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment

• Professional appearance and a positive, customer-focused attitude

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a server

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact confidently with diverse guests and colleagues

• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards, menu items and wine pairings

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining composure and attention to detail

• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively

• Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer literacy

• Fluency in English and Cantonese is preferred; additional languages are advantageous

• A genuine passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
