Role Description The Server role at Roadhouse Pvt. Ltd. is a full-time, on-site position based in Kathmandu. The Server is responsible for greeting guests, presenting menus, taking orders accurately, and serving food and beverages in a timely and professional manner. This role involves maintaining a clean and organized service area, setting and clearing tables, and ensuring that guests’ needs are met throughout their visit. The Server collaborates with kitchen and bar teams to coordinate orders, handle guest inquiries or concerns, and support a smooth service flow during peak hours. The position also includes following safety and hygiene standards, processing payments, and contributing to a warm, welcoming atmosphere aligned with Roadhouse’s hospitality values.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong customer service and communication skills, including the ability to interact courteously with diverse guests and work effectively in a team.
• Candidates should possess basic food and beverage service skills, such as menu knowledge, order taking, and serving procedures, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Candidates should possess time management and multitasking abilities to handle multiple tables, prioritize tasks, and maintain composure during busy service periods.
• Candidates should possess problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills to address guest concerns promptly and escalate issues when needed.
• Candidates should possess basic numeracy and point-of-sale (POS) operation skills to manage bills, process payments, and handle cash responsibly.
• Previous experience in restaurants, cafés, or hotels is beneficial; knowledge of hospitality standards and local food culture is an advantage.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, carry trays safely, and adhere to health, safety, and hygiene regulations is required.
• Fluency in Nepali and working proficiency in English are preferred; additional languages are a plus.
