About the Opportunity

The Estate at Meander is a beautifully restored 77-acre historic estate nestled in the foothills of Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains. Home to Harvest & Hearth, The Reverend cocktail lounge, luxury accommodations, special events, and soon the Mid-Atlantic's first Scandinavian Spa, we are redefining hospitality through genuine service, exceptional food and beverage, and unforgettable guest experiences.

We're seeking an enthusiastic and hospitality-focused Server to join our growing team.

Day time and evening shifts available. Part-time with an opportunity to grow into full-time.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional food and beverage service with professionalism, warmth, and genuine hospitality
• Prepare and serve beer, wine, classic cocktails, espresso beverages, and seasonal specialty drinks
• Learn and confidently present our seasonal menus, cocktail program, and wine selections
• Recommend food, wine, and cocktail pairings that enhance the guest experience
• Maintain knowledge of daily features, estate offerings, and special events
• Set and reset dining rooms, patios, cocktail lounge, and event spaces
• Prepare service stations and assist with opening and closing duties
• Process guest payments accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining and bar environment
• Work collaboratively with the culinary, guest services, and events teams
• Assist with weddings, corporate retreats, brunch service, cocktail receptions, and estate events
• Cross-train to assist with guest services and other hospitality functions as needed

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience required
• Bartending experience is an asset but not required
• Experience in an upscale restaurant, winery, boutique hotel, country club, or hospitality venue is an asset
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
• Professional appearance with excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate guest needs
• Ability to multitask while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor
• Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Responsible alcohol service certification (or willingness to obtain)
