Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
• Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food preparation and delivery
• Assist with host/hostess duties when needed, including seating guests and managing waitlists

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with a passion for hospitality and guest relations
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience with food handling, sanitation, and food safety regulations
• Basic math skills for cashiering, bill splitting, and transaction accuracy
• Knowledge of food industry standards related to serving, food preparation, and kitchen operations is a plus
• Excellent communication skills combined with a positive attitude to create welcoming guest interactions
