Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant hospitality team! Duties

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, creating a welcoming environment from the moment they arrive
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff and baristas
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktail and beverage service, while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Process sales transactions accurately, handling cash, credit card payments, and processing tips with precision
• Upsell menu items such as specialty drinks, wines, or desserts to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables promptly, resetting for new guests, and adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine, spirits, and menu options based on guest preferences and culinary expertise

Requirements

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation techniques
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse situations professionally
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy hours while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and handling sales efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and sanitation standards in the food industry
• Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential

Pay: $17.00 - $29.16 per hour
