Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted
• Serve food, beverages, cocktails, and spirits efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
• Process sales transactions smoothly, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist with food preparation and food handling tasks as needed to support kitchen staff during busy periods
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine, cocktails, and menu items to elevate the guest experience

Requirements

• Previous food service experience in restaurants is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for efficient order processing
• Strong customer service skills with a passion for hospitality and guest relations
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly
• Knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and handling sales transactions confidently
• Experience in food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with guests and team members alike
