Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems Toast, and relay orders efficiently to the kitchen.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation.
• Assist with food handling, food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas.
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions or concerns professionally, ensuring an exceptional dining experience.
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems POS terminals, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
• Support team members during busy periods by assisting with host/host duties or food service tasks as needed.
• Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times.
• Promote a lively atmosphere by engaging with guests in nightlife settings such as nightclubs or bars.

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightlife environments.
• Familiarity with POS systems Toast is advantageous.
• Experience in serving, bartending, or host/host roles demonstrates strong guest relations skills.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and basic math for cash handling is essential.
• Culinary experience or kitchen background can be beneficial for understanding food preparation processes.
• Proven ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service periods while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $8.00 - $20.00 per hour
