In this role, you will deliver exceptional service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and ensuring their visit is memorable. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, including wine, spirits, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
• Process sales transactions accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with precision
• Upsell menu items by highlighting specials or recommended pairings to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and beverage service procedures
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly for a seamless experience

Requirements

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable reservations system is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques including drink presentation and cocktail mixing skills
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs effectively
• Understanding of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $23.70 - $28.54 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
