Server

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, and ensuring that all food and beverage needs are met promptly and efficiently.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the restaurant's point-of-sale system.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining proper presentation standards.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards is preferred.
• Experience in cash handling and basic math skills for processing payments accurately.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively.
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while providing helpful recommendations.
• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is a plus but not required.

Pay: $16.00-$19.20 per hour
