Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS Toast
• Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing guest satisfaction
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
• Manage table settings, bussing, and sanitation to maintain a clean and inviting environment
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues promptly
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including wine pairings and dietary accommodations such as gluten-free or vegetarian options
• Assist with opening or closing duties as needed, including sanitation and food handling procedures
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing concerns professionally and ensuring a memorable dining experience

Qualifications

• Proven restaurant experience in food service or hospitality roles.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for cash handling and transactions
• Experience with serving, bussing, host/hostess duties, or food industry roles is preferred
• Basic math skills for accurate billing and cash handling operations
