Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm to create a welcoming atmosphere
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS systems
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and adherence to food safety regulations throughout service
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to maintain a smooth operation

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation techniques
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
• Previous experience in food preparation, bartending, or host/hostess roles is desirable
• Passion for hospitality with a focus on guest relations and creating memorable dining experiences

Pay: $22.91 - $27.59 per hour
