Abigails American Bistro is hiring for a long term server position, must have 2 years experience

Duties:

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
• Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
• Enter orders into the POS system and handle cash transactions
• Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
• Ensure guest satisfaction by providing excellent customer service
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely order delivery
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and empathy

Qualifications:

• Previously must have 2 years experience as a server
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members
• Solid knowledge of wine and liquor
• Basic math skills for calculating bills, making change, and splitting checks
• Excellent multitasking abilities to handle multiple tables simultaneously
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices to ensure a clean dining area
