Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Serve food, cocktails, spirits, wine, and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
• Process sales transactions accurately and handle cash, credit cards, and other payment methods securely
• Upsell menu items and beverage options to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times
• Assist with bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings including wine pairings, spirits, and food preparation details to answer guest questions confidently

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with fine dining experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly
• Basic math skills for processing payments and handling sales transactions accurately
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Experience with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and engage with guests confidently
