Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring quick and efficient processing
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including food handling and sanitation protocols
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and guest satisfaction
• Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills while providing excellent guest services

Qualifications

• Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Experience with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is highly desirable
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, billing, and order accuracy
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy dining periods effectively
• Basic understanding of food preparation processes; kitchen experience is beneficial
• Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items and provide guest-focused service in a fast-paced environment
