Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm to create a positive first impression
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all details are correct
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by adhering to food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and guest satisfaction
• Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns promptly and professionally
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed, supporting overall restaurant operations
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours

Requirements

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling practices
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order calculations accurately
• Experience in food industry roles such as serving or cashiering is advantageous
• Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are beneficial but not required
• Demonstrated ability to work well within a team and maintain professionalism under pressure

Pay: $17.60-$28.95 per hour
