Taftoon NYC is a vibrant Persian-inspired cocktail bar and modern café serving street-style food, creative cocktails, and lively energy in an intimate Kips Bay setting.

We are seeking energetic, outgoing, and well-presented servers who bring personality to the dining room. The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with guests and coworkers, thrives in a lively environment, and understands that great service requires teamwork, urgency, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.

We are looking for go-getters who stay engaged, anticipate what needs to be done, and are always willing to support the team.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with warmth, confidence, and positive energy
• Provide attentive, engaging, and knowledgeable service
• Explain the menu and make thoughtful food and cocktail recommendations
• Accurately take orders and enter them into the POS system
• Maintain strong knowledge of menu ingredients, beverages, and allergens
• Monitor tables and anticipate guests’ needs throughout their experience
• Deliver food and beverages and assist with running items for coworkers
• Pre-bus, clean, and reset tables promptly
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen, bar, host, and support team
• Complete all opening, closing, cleaning, and assigned side work
• Maintain a clean, polished, and organized dining room
• Handle guest concerns professionally and involve management when needed

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience preferred
• Energetic, outgoing, and comfortable engaging with guests
• Professional, polished, and well-presented
• Reliable, punctual, and accountable
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Positive attitude and team-first mentality
• Self-motivated and able to stay productive without constant direction
• Comfortable working in a lively, fast-paced environment
• Interest in food, cocktails, hospitality, and guest service
• Ability to stand and move throughout the shift
• Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required

Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour
