Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items including drinks, desserts, and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Process cash transactions and credit card payments accurately, handling cash safely and responsibly
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, and service stations; bus tables promptly to ensure a smooth flow of service
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of menu items, including wine, spirits, cocktails, and food ingredients to assist guests in making informed choices
• Follow food safety protocols and sanitation standards diligently during food handling and beverage service
• Assist with opening or closing duties as needed, including setup of service areas and restocking supplies
• Foster positive guest relations by providing personalized service that exceeds expectations in both casual and fine dining settings

Experience

• Previous food service experience in restaurants, cafes, or bars is preferred; experience in fine dining or nightclub environments is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing sales transactions efficiently
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques including OpenTable reservations management is advantageous
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables during busy hours without compromising quality of service
• Proven ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor
• Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation and cash handling procedures
• Experience in customer service roles that emphasize guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices within the food industry
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays in a fast-paced environment

Pay: From $7.00 per hour
