Job Summary

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, providing a welcoming atmosphere from the first interaction.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring all details are correct.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation, including cocktail service, wine knowledge, spirits experience, and beverage service.
• Process sales transactions efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and processing tips with accuracy.
• Upsell menu items including specialty cocktails, wines, or premium dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations; bus tables, reset dining areas, and assist with food handling when needed.
• Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, dietary restrictions, or special requests to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Support team members during busy periods by assisting with food preparation, bussing tables, or other restaurant duties as required.

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant setting is highly preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in order processing.
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service is desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to build rapport with guests.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously through effective time management and organizational skills.
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash responsibly.
• Experience in food safety practices and sanitation standards to ensure guest safety at all times.

Pay: $11.98 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week
