Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
• Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to enhance guest experience.
• Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining guest satisfaction.
• Serve food and beverages in accordance with established standards of service.
• Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, ensuring timely service and satisfaction.
• Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately through the POS system.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area and service stations.
• Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for the next guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub environments.
• Familiarity with food handling, safety regulations, and sanitation practices is essential.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and guest requests simultaneously.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
• Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
