Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using Shift 4 POS system.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, with a focus on presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items and beverage options to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales revenue
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately while handling cash safely and maintaining proper cash handling procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery while managing multiple tables simultaneously

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; fine dining or hospitality experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order processing and sales transactions
• Demonstrated ability in beverage service.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and the ability to build guest relations
• Effective time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently while maintaining high service standards
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs seamlessly
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
