Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted
• Serve food, cocktails, spirits, wine, and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
• Upsell menu items including drinks, desserts, or specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Process cash and card transactions accurately, including handling change and receipts with basic math skills
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation protocols
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is advantageous
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse situations professionally
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly
• Food handling certification and understanding of food safety practices required
• Previous experience with cash handling, sales transaction processing, and upselling strategies preferred
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is beneficial for understanding food preparation and presentation standards

Pay: $2.50 - $3.25 per hour
