Job Summary

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, and relay orders efficiently to kitchen staff
• Serve food and drinks promptly, including beverage service, ensuring presentation standards are met
• Process sales transactions accurately while handling cash, credit card payments, and processing tips with integrity
• Upsell menu items including specialty drinks, desserts, or premium selections to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist with food preparation when needed and support kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or bars
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations management
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse customer needs effectively
• Demonstrated ability in cash handling, math skills for processing transactions accurately, and basic food safety practices
• Ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume service periods while maintaining attention to detail
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform duties such as bussing tables or assisting in food handling tasks
