Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of menu items and specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely communication with kitchen staff.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales by recommending popular dishes or beverages.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering duties and processing payments swiftly.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with food safety regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations.
• Assist in basic food preparation tasks when needed, supporting the culinary team during busy periods.
• Ensure all food industry safety protocols are followed diligently to promote guest safety and satisfaction.

Experience

• Prior food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining excellent guest service.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is highly desirable.
• Experience in cashiering or cash handling ensures accuracy during transactions.
• Ability to work well within a team in a hospitality setting, demonstrating outstanding customer service skills.
• Basic math skills for order calculations, bill splitting, and cash management are essential for success in this role.
