Set across nine seaside acres, the property features ranch-inspired accommodations, a heated pool, fire pits, lawn games, a private trail to the beach, and The Cow Tipper, a cozy on-site breakfast spot. With its beautiful coastal setting, family-friendly atmosphere, and flexible outdoor event spaces, Oceanpoint Ranch offers a unique destination for guests looking to unwind, explore, and enjoy the natural beauty of Cambria.

THE ROLE

As a Server, you’ll help create a memorable dining experience through friendly, attentive service and a welcoming atmosphere. From preparing tables and taking care of guest requests to serving food and beverages, you’ll help ensure every guest feels looked after while keeping the restaurant clean, organized, and ready for service. You will:

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Set and prepare tables and dining areas for service
• Take guest orders, make menu recommendations, and suggest additional food and beverage options
• Serve food and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages professionally and efficiently
• Check in with guests throughout their visit to ensure satisfaction and address any needs
• Complete side work, including stocking service stations, filling condiments, and rolling silverware
• Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly for incoming guests
• Maintain a clean, organized dining area and support kitchen cleanliness as needed
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and established service standards
• Communicate guest requests and service needs clearly with fellow team members
• Report lost and found items or property damage to the appropriate supervisor
• Support other team members and departments to help the restaurant and hotel run smoothly

Guests feel welcomed, well cared for, and confident that their needs are being met. Service is attentive and efficient, tables and service stations stay clean and ready, and the restaurant team works together to create a positive dining experience from start to finish.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 1+ year of restaurant, food and beverage, or hospitality experience preferred
• Friendly, approachable, and professional approach to guest service
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Ability to make menu recommendations and confidently suggest additional items
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and service standards
• Basic math skills and ability to handle guest requests accurately
• Ability to stay organized, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a busy environment
• Dependable, adaptable, and willing to help wherever needed
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, or willingness to learn
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and frequently bend, reach, lift, and carry
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
• Comfortable working around commercial kitchen equipment and cleaning agents
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

POSITION DETAILS

• Hourly Rate Range: $16.90 - $17.90
• Full-Time
