Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a memorable dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Your ability to work effectively with guests and fellow team members is crucial to our success.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, including OpenTable for reservations.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to sanitation standards.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash register operations and cash handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down the dining area for events or busy service periods.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items to enhance the guest experience.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly.
• Uphold high standards of hospitality throughout each shift.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of Japanese food.
• Experience in high end dining environment is preferred but not required.
• Excellent guest service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly OpenTable, is advantageous.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Team-oriented mindset with effective communication skills.
