Duties

• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and assist with food and beverage selections to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, process sales transactions efficiently, and handle cash or credit payments with precision
• Serve food and beverages promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring presentation standards are met
• Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery; assist with food handling and basic food preparation when needed
• Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere in both fine dining settings and lively nightlife venues

Skills

• Extensive experience with POS systems such as Toast POS, Clover POS, or similar platforms for processing transactions accurately
• Proven ability to upsell menu items effectively to increase sales while maintaining guest satisfaction
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and the ability to handle diverse guest needs in fast-paced environments
• Culinary experience or food industry background that supports food handling, sanitation, and basic food prep skills
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts without compromising service quality

Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper alcohol service regulations in compliance with health guidelines

Pay: $2.13 per hour
