Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing them with menus and information about specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha or Micros POS systems.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation meets our fine dining standards.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
• Assist with cash handling and basic math calculations for guest checks.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
• Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in fine dining or upscale establishments.
• Familiarity with Toast POS systems is preferred.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and check processing.
• Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is a plus.
• Understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices.
