Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Manage table turnover by bussing, resetting tables, and assisting with food handling and sanitation procedures
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and food safety standards
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while adhering to POS protocols like OpenTable for reservations management
• Support guest relations by addressing questions or issues professionally, fostering a welcoming environment in both fine dining settings and lively nightlife venues such as nightclubs

Experience

• Experience in fine dining environments or nightclubs demonstrates adaptability to diverse service settings
• Strong skills in time management, multitasking, and prioritization to serve multiple tables efficiently
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations ensures compliance with industry standards
• Background in serving or host/hostess roles provides a foundation for excellent guest relations and customer service skills
• Basic math proficiency for cashiering, bill splitting, and accurate cash handling is essential
