What you’ll do

• Greet and welcome guests with a warm smile, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they arrive.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS, ensuring clarity and efficiency.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals while adhering to food safety standards.
• Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area to create an inviting atmosphere.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math calculations for payments and tips.
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.

Basic qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with OpenTable for reservations management is a plus.
• Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques enhances your ability to engage with guests about menu items.
• Familiarity with sanitation practices and food handling regulations ensures a safe dining environment.
• Background in fine dining or gastro pub settings adds valuable insight into upscale service expectations.
