Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated server to join our vibrant hospitality team! As a server, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert beverage and food knowledge, and a lively, welcoming attitude. Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in sales transactions processing
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu offerings, including food preparation details, wine pairings, spirits, and cocktail options
• Ensure food safety standards and sanitation protocols are followed during food handling and serving
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas promptly, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to uphold smooth operations

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on fine dining or nightlife settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse customer needs
• Demonstrated ability in beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink service techniques
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours while maintaining high service standards
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs efficiently
• Culinary experience or food industry background preferred; familiarity with food handling and sanitation practices essential
• Nightclub or hospitality experience advantageous; ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
