Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales revenue
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately while handling cash safely
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine pairings, cocktail options, and menu items based on guest preferences
• Ensure guest relations are positive by addressing concerns promptly and professionally

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Experience in fine dining or casual dining environments enhances your ability to deliver exceptional service
• Knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, and cocktail preparation is a plus
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation practices is advantageous
