Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktail and beverage service, while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, and specialty cocktails to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Process cash transactions and credit card payments accurately, handling cash safely and giving correct change
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders while managing multiple tables during busy periods

Requirements

• Previous food service or restaurant experience, preferably in fine dining or nightlife environments such as nightclubs or bars
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest relations
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and process sales efficiently
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Basic math skills for order totaling and change calculation; familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation practice.
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume shifts
