Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage options to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, with an emphasis on presentation and quality
• Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card processing, while maintaining accountability for all cash and POS operations
• Upsell menu items such as specialty drinks or premium dishes to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations; assist with bussing tables and resetting stations as needed
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery; support food handling procedures for safety and quality assurance

Skills

• Extensive experience with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; proficiency in sales transaction processing is essential
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktail mixing, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation techniques
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service with excellent guest relations skills; attentive listening and positive communication are key
• Culinary experience or food industry background preferred; familiarity with food preparation, sanitation standards, and food safety protocols
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours without sacrificing service quality
• Experience working in fine dining environments or nightclubs is advantageous; ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced settings
• Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation, cash handling, and transaction processing; attention to detail ensures accuracy in all financial exchanges
