Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences and a strong understanding of food service operations. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests receive top-notch service throughout their dining experience. Clean up before your shift is over is also key to working with us, each server is assigned a job towards the end of your shift. You are to complete your section of the cleaning process before you are allowed to clock out.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using our POS system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including bussing tables after guests leave.
• Assist with menu recommendations and answer any questions regarding food items.
• Process payments accurately using cash registers and handle transactions with care.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to provide informed suggestions to guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly.

Skills

• Proficiency in using our POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
• Experience with cash register operations and basic math skills for accurate transaction handling.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and culinary techniques to ensure safe food service.
• Strong guest relations skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
• Ability to sanitize work areas effectively to maintain health standards.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.
• Experience in sales techniques to enhance guest satisfaction through upselling menu items.

Pay: $400.00 - $850.00 per week
