Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, creating an inviting atmosphere that encourages repeat visits
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, spirits, wines, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, handling cash handling and sales transaction processing with integrity
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables promptly and assisting with food handling and sanitation procedures
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, wine pairings, and beverage options based on guest preferences

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food preparation basics, and sanitation practices
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing bills confidently
• Bartending with experience making cocktails a plus
