Duties

• Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and answer questions about menu items, specials, and wine pairings to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring timely delivery
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring proper presentation, food safety, and sanitation standards are upheld at all times
• Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with accuracy and integrity
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to support smooth restaurant operations
• Build strong guest relations through attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming environment for all guests

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on guest relations and customer service excellence
• Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations within the food industry
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management
