Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using the OpenTable system.
• Provide detailed menu descriptions and recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages while maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and basic math calculations.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely order fulfillment.
• Assist in training new staff members on service protocols and menu offerings.

Experience

• Previous experience in a hospitality or casual dining setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest relations and sales techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
