Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, ensuring food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed
• Assist in food preparation when needed and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
• Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction

Qualifications

• Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
• Understanding of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cashiering and billing purposes
• Experience with food preparation, serving, and hospitality practices is beneficial
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
