Server

The Server is responsible for providing friendly, attentive, and professional service while ensuring guests enjoy a positive dining experience. This role involves taking food and beverage orders, serving meals accurately, answering menu questions, processing payments, and maintaining clean dining areas. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, and able to work efficiently in a busy restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Present menus and explain food and beverage options.
• Take customer orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and correctly.
• Make menu recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Communicate special requests, food allergies, and dietary requirements to the kitchen.
• Check on guests throughout their meals to ensure satisfaction.
• Handle customer questions, feedback, and complaints professionally.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and fellow servers to ensure efficient service.
• Process payments, operate POS systems, and handle cash accurately.
• Set up tables and maintain clean, organized dining areas.
• Clear tables and prepare them for incoming guests.
• Restock service stations with menus, utensils, napkins, and other supplies.
• Follow food-safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Assist with opening, closing, and assigned side-work duties.
• Support teammates during busy service periods.
• Communicate guest feedback and operational concerns to supervisors.
• Follow restaurant policies and maintain a welcoming dining atmosphere.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous server or restaurant experience preferred.
• Excellent customer-service and communication skills.
• Friendly, courteous, and professional attitude.
• Knowledge of menu items and willingness to learn food and beverage offerings.
• Familiarity with POS systems and payment-processing procedures.

Pay: $23.73 - $28.58 per hour
