Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Process cash and credit transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in sales transaction processing
• Serve food and beverages with professionalism, including drink service, wine knowledge, and cocktail preparation
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist with food handling and basic food preparation when needed to support kitchen operations
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving concerns with a positive attitude
• Support bar service with spirits experience and beverage knowledge during busy hours or special events
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless restaurant operations during shifts

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order entry and sales processing
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail making, and beverage service techniques
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
• Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
• Experience with food handling, food preparation, bussing, and serving in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends; nightclub or late-night restaurant experience is advantageous
• Strong communication skills coupled with a team-oriented mindset to foster guest relations and support colleagues

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 50.0 per week
