Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling and sales transaction processing
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in compliance with food safety regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues promptly
• Maintain extensive knowledge of menu offerings, wine pairings, spirits, and beverage service techniques to provide expert recommendations
• Support guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns with professionalism and enthusiasm
• Contribute to a lively atmosphere during peak hours such as nights or nightclub events while ensuring safety protocols are followed

Skills

• Proven experience in food service roles within fine dining or high-volume restaurants with a strong emphasis on customer service
• Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Extensive knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques
• Culinary experience combined with understanding of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety practices
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
• Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction
• Effective communication skills for guest interactions and teamwork within a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Previous experience in nightclub settings or high-energy hospitality environments is desirable
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a vibrant hospitality setting
