Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and attentive Servers at Joes Pub. Flexible schedule afternoon and night shifts available! Main holidays off. Weekend availability needed

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
• Process cash and credit transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in sales transactions processing
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth service flow
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions or concerns professionally and promptly

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
• Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations management
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail recipes, and beverage service techniques
• Culinary experience or food handling knowledge is highly desirable
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
• Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
• Previous experience in serving or host/hostess roles preferred but not required
