Position Summary

We have renovated our resturant completely and revamped our menu to reflect more traditional Korean menu items.

The Front of House / Server is responsible for creating a welcoming experience for our guests while helping maintain the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant. This position includes both general front-of-house responsibilities and table service, including greeting and seating guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, processing payments, maintaining the dining area, and assisting with opening and closing duties.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, friendly, clean and organized, and comfortable working as part of a small restaurant team.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesGuest Service & Serving

• Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Explain menu items, ingredients, specials, and available options.
• Take accurate dine-in, takeout, and telephone orders.
• Enter orders accurately into the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages to dine-in guests.
• Refill beverages and provide utensils, sauces, napkins, and other items as needed.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables efficiently.
• Package and verify takeout and delivery orders.
• Handle routine customer concerns professionally and involve management when necessary.

Front-of-House Operations

• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining room.
• Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, counters, menus, and guest-contact surfaces.
• Restock utensils, napkins, cups, condiments, beverages, and takeout supplies.
• Sweep, mop, remove trash, and perform routine cleaning duties.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Keep service stations organized and properly stocked throughout the shift.

Cash Handling & POS

• Operate the POS system accurately.
• Process cash, credit card, and other authorized payments.
• Provide accurate receipts and change.
• Follow restaurant procedures for discounts, refunds, and voids.

Team & Kitchen Support

• Communicate orders and special requests clearly with kitchen staff.
• Run food from the kitchen and ensure dishes reach the correct guests.
• Assist with basic food preparation, packaging, restocking, and restaurant support when needed and properly trained.
• Work cooperatively with both front- and back-of-house employees.
• Help maintain a clean and efficient restaurant during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, serving, cashier, or customer-service experience preferred.
• Friendly and comfortable interacting with customers.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Clean, organized, and attentive to detail.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Enjoys food, hospitality, and working as part of a team.
• Willing to help wherever needed during a shift.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, bend and reach frequently, carry food and beverages, and safely lift and carry items typically encountered in restaurant operations, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
