Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring efficient processing of sales transactions
• Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, with attention to presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items and beverage options to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
• Assist in opening or closing duties, including cash handling, processing payments accurately, and balancing registers
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or hospitality settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for sales processing
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude and the ability to build guest relations
• Culinary experience preferred; familiarity with food preparation and food safety standards is a plus
• Beverage expertise including cocktail mixing, spirits knowledge, wine pairing, and drink service techniques
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
• Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions accurately, and managing sales reports
