Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Process cash transactions and credit card payments accurately; handle cash handling with integrity
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations; bus tables and assist in food preparation when needed
• Support guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues professionally, and ensuring a positive dining experience

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments; fine dining experience is a plus
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable; basic math skills required for processing transactions
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting; multitask efficiently during busy hours
• Food handling certification and knowledge of sanitation practices required for food safety compliance
• Experience with food industry standards including serving, bussing, host/hostess duties, cashiering, and guest relations
