Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist them in seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
• Upsell menu items, including wines and specialty cocktails, to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, handling cash handling and cashiering duties.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and food handling.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly.

Skills

• Previous food service or restaurant experience, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings, is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations management.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately.
• Experience with beverage service, spirits knowledge, wine pairing, and cocktail preparation is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, in a fast-paced environment.
