Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing attentive and friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation standards are met for all dishes and beverages including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic options
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments with accuracy
• Upsell menu items such as specialty drinks or desserts to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen support when needed, demonstrating culinary experience and teamwork skills

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant environment, preferably in fine dining or high-volume settings
• Proficiency with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle guest relations gracefully
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques including drink presentation
• Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through excellent time management and organizational skills
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and handling cash transactions
• Familiarity with food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
